Endeavour Learning Trust has been announced as a finalist in the Outstanding Governance in a Multi Academy Trust category at the NGA Outstanding Governance Awards, a national celebration recognising excellence and dedication in school and trust governance across England.

The National Governance Association (NGA) honoured 17 governing boards and governance professionals at a prestigious ceremony held at the House of Commons on Wednesday 17 September. Finalists were welcomed with afternoon tea and the chance to network with leaders from across the education sector.

Throughout the event, NGA commended the exceptional work of all finalists, highlighting the remarkable impact strong governance has on the lives of children and young people within their schools and trusts.

Guests also heard from Georgia Gould MP, Minister of State for School Standards, who delivered one of her first ministerial addresses. Drawing on her 14 years of experience as a governor, she paid tribute to the dedicated volunteers whose commitment underpins effective governance.

Endeavour was represented by eight of nine our Local Academy Chairs, three trustees, including the Chair, their Governance team and the Chief Executive.  It was great way to celebrate the togetherness of our governance model and recongnise the massive contribution of our governance volunteers in delivering our mission and values.
