Ormskirk School and Endeavour Community officially opened its brand new 3G Artificial Grass Pitch on Thursday 27th February. In attendance were students from Ormskirk School, with Headteacher, Mr Burnham, alongside Ormskirk C of E School, West Lancs Sport Partnership, members of West Lancashire Borough Council, JN Sports and TQ Sports.
This was a significant moment, not just for the school, but also for the wider community, as it marks an investment in the future of sport in Ormskirk. With the opening of this state-of-the-art facility, we are giving young people from Ormskirk School and Local Primary Schools, the very best opportunity to thrive in their chosen sports and for the community of Ormskirk to be physically active and lead a healthier lifestyle.
This 3G pitch is more than just a surface to play on - it is a place where future sporting stars might take their first steps toward success and a place where friendships and lifelong memories will be made.
