Linaker Primary School in Southport has officially become part of the Endeavour Learning Trust, following approval from the Department for Education.
This new chapter for Linaker opens up new possibilities at the school, pooling resources with a well established local trust that aims to ignite children’s curiosity and inspire discovery.
By joining Endeavour, Linaker is strengthening its commitment to providing the highest quality education, while accessing additional resources to further improve children’s time at the school.
Linaker will continue to pursue its core aims of helping its students flourish and grow, encouraging them to pursue lifelong learning and build resilience through their time at school.
The school will also now have the added benefit of sharing expertise and best practice with like-minded schools across the North West, allowing for increased professional development for the staff there as part of the wider Endeavour trust.
Endeavour, which supports schools across Lancashire, and Sefton, is known for its commitment to all its students thriving, whilst encouraging individuality and collaboration.
With four secondary schools and three primary schools already part of the trust, Linaker now joins a broader community dedicated to delivering excellence in education.
Jan Holmes, headteacher at Linaker Primary said:
“Joining the Endeavour family is a big step for Linaker. We have a plan to make Linaker the best possible school it can be, where our students and staff have opportunities to grow and flourish, and joining Endeavour brings this goal into closer reach for us. By joining a local, well established trust like Endeavour we are unlocking new possibilities for our children, and I look forward to working with the other schools in the trust to maximise our school’s potential.”
David Clayton, CEO of Endeavour Learning Trust, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Linaker Primary to Endeavour Learning Trust at a time of significant opportunity for them. As part of the Endeavour family, we aim to build on their positive ethos while providing enhanced opportunities for staff development and pupil achievement. By combining our resources and expertise within a wider network, Linaker Primary can achieve even greater success in delivering educational excellence. ”
