What inspired you to become a teacher?
I was inspired to to teach Biology by my own high school teacher. Their love of the subject inspired me, which has led me to some of the best experiences of my life. I want to pass that onto my students.
Why did you choose Endeavour for your teacher training?
I wanted to learn on the job, with the weekly support days that Endeavour provides.
What was the best thing about the programme?
The learning community of the other trainees, and the family of Endeavour school departments who offer advice and support in spades.
What impact has the SCITT had on your career as a teacher?
It has given me a love of teaching and fueled my ambitions to go on and become the best teacher I can be. I was also hired by my first placement school.

What advice would you give to prospective trainee teachers?
Be patient. See it as a 2 or 3 year process, ask for advice and try it out.
