What inspired you to become a teacher?
I have had a passion for history since I was at school, and teaching provides a working environment which is different everyday, it's never boring!
Why did you choose Endeavour for your teacher training?
I had been recommended Endeavour by a teacher, and they worked hard to facilitate my circumstances, and found solutions which other providers could not.
What was the best thing about the programme?
The constant challenge presented by mentors who work hard to develop your practice, and make it achievable. Also the Friday sessions with other trainees.
What impact has the SCITT had on your career as a teacher?
The SCITT had helped me to overhaul a lot of my practice and develop quickly as a teacher. It has allowed me to form professional relationships with experienced teachers.

What advice would you give to prospective trainee teachers?
Listen to the advice you are given and implement it when appropriate.
Anything else you would like to say about your time with Endeavour Learning SCITT?
The year spent learning with Endeavour has been absolutely fantastic. I've enjoyed everyday of work and have always been supported by Endeavour staff.
