What inspired you to become a teacher?
I had always wanted to be a teacher. I wanted to have a career that made a difference and gave back to my community.
Why did you choose Endeavour for your teacher training?
I chose Endeavour becasue the SCITT was small. I felt I would get more support and feel more part of a team then if I joined one of the larger SCITTS. Initially talking to Roger on the phone I felt he was enthusiastic and personable. I liked the school that I had my interview in.
What was the best thing about the programme?
Being exposed to the realities of teaching. The day to day pressures that I will face as a teacher but having lots of support around me. I was enjoyed my time at both placement schools.
What impact has the SCITT had on your career as a teacher?
The SCITT has given my the entrance into a rewarding career in teaching. I have met some fantastic people that I know will continue to support me through my career.

What advice would you give to prospective trainee teachers?
To build a experienced, knowledgable support network around you that can support your development.
Anything else you would like to say about your time with Endeavour Learning SCITT?
The scitt has been a life changing experience for me. It has given me direction, purpose and joy.
