We are proud to announce that Endeavour Learning Trust has been shortlisted for four prestigious awards at the MAT Excellence Awards 2026.
The Trust, which comprises ten schools across Lancashire and Sefton, is one of only a small number of multi-academy trusts nationally to receive more than three nominations this year — a significant achievement that reflects the strength and impact of our collective work.
Endeavour Learning Trust has been shortlisted in the following categories:
-
CEO of the Year
-
Community Trust of the Year
-
MAT of the Year (Medium)
-
Executive Team of the Year
Organised by MAT Excellence, the awards celebrate the exceptional achievements and positive impact of multi-academy trusts across the country. The 2026 shortlist represents the very highest standards of educational leadership, innovation and community contribution.
Over recent years, Endeavour Learning Trust has established itself as a true anchor institution within its local communities, transforming its schools into vibrant, year-round community hubs. Collectively, these hubs now support more than 140 groups and thousands of families through coordinated programmes focused on physical activity, wellbeing, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), leadership development and safeguarding.
By addressing gaps in local services, the Trust continues to foster resilience, belonging and opportunity for children and families across the North West.
David Clayton, CEO of Endeavour Learning Trust, said:
“We are incredibly proud and humbled to be shortlisted in these four categories.
This recognition is a testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of our entire community — our children, colleagues, governors and partners — who strive every day to create thriving schools and stronger communities across the North West.
Being acknowledged at a national level for our leadership and community impact motivates us to continue pushing forward for the children and families we serve.”
Winners will be announced at the MAT Excellence Awards ceremony later in 2026. Further details about the shortlist can be found on the MAT Excellence website here.
